I'm not sure if we're getting a very good deal on this one.. I have a sick feeling in my stomach..
Star Tribune
"The Vikings and Oakland Raiders have agreed to a trade that will send Vikings receiver Randy Moss to the Raiders in exchange for the seventh overall pick in this year's draft, linebacker Napoleon Harris and a low-round draft pick this year, a person with knowledge of the situation said Wednesday.
'It's sort of a bittersweet moment for Randy,' said his agent, Dante DiTrapano. 'He had seven years in Minnesota, and he loved being a Viking. But, at the same time, this gives him a better chance to win a Super Bowl. The Oakland Raiders have vowed to use Randy like he has been used the past seven years, and that's throw the ball deep.'
NFL trades can't become official until March 2. Because of that, the Vikings aren't able to comment on Moss' status.
'We've had discussions with the Raiders, but we have nothing to say about it,' said Rob Brzezinski, Vikings vice president of football operations. 'That's all we can say.'
Moss has been rumored to be on the trading block since the end of a injury-plagued and controversial-filled 2004 season. Brzezinski said the Vikings did not shop Moss, and that the Raiders contacted them recently to initiate trade talks."
