More Evidence Against Iraq
Secretary of State Colin Powell today gave a presentation giving some very powerful evidence showing that Iraq has not been complying with UN weapons inspectors. Among the evidence:
1. Audio messages of Iraqi officials discussing an upcoming inspection, and making sure that certain areas were cleaned and to "make sure that there is nothing there".
2. A satellite photo of an active chemical weapons bunker showing Iraqi officials cleaning out the bunkers ahead of an inspection.
3. Photographs of caravans of trucks leaving other suspected weapons sites just two days before inspections resumed.
With all of this evidence I find it hard to believe any of the UN countries will now try to say that action is not necessary.
