What I am so concerned about in the case of Terri Schiavo is that an innocent life is being lost, and people can't see her "husband" for what he is. A scheming, greedy killer. Its also horrible because people are throwing all sorts of things out there stating that she is comatose, that she is a vegetable, she is on life support, etc, but she is not!
Here is what her father says,
"Contrary to anything you may have heard, Terri is NOT brain dead; Terri is NOT in a coma; she is NOT in a "persistent vegetative state;" nor is she on ANY life-support system.
Terri laughs, Terri cries, she moves, and she makes child-like attempts at speech with her mother and me. Sometimes she will say "Mom" or "Dad" or "yeah" when we ask her a question. When I kiss her hello or goodbye, she looks at me and "puckers up" her lips.
This may not seem like much to you, but it means everything to Terri's mother and me. It tells us she is still here, she still knows us, and with therapy and time she can have some level of recovery."
The only "life support" that Terri is receiving is that she is being fed.
And doesn't anyone think it is odd that her so called husband who wants her dead is already living with another woman and has children with her, but refuses to divorce Terri so that her parents can care for her? There is also some evidence showing that he may have tried strangling her the night she had her brain injury. He also stands to gain quite a bit of money if Terri dies.. What about those things do people not understand?
I for one will be praying that Terri is saved this horrible starvation death (starvation, by the way, is not a fun way to go).
