On August 1st, 2007 the 35w highway bridge over the Mississippi River Collapsed, injuring scores of people, and killing many others.
Anyone who lives in the Twin Cities area has traveled over this bridge countless times, and it really strikes home to see this bridge collapsed, lying in the water.
